01.Acceptance
By creating an account or using PASSmap you confirm that you have read and accept these terms and the privacy policy.
02.Service description
PASSmap is a password manager and visual project map. Data is encrypted in your browser using a key derived from your master password.
Features, limits and plan availability may change — material changes are communicated before they take effect.
03.Account
Accounts are personal. You agree to provide a real email address and choose a strong account password.
Enabling 2FA is mandatory. The recovery key downloaded during encryption setup is the only way to regain access to your vault if you lose your master password.
You are responsible for all actions performed under your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, change your password immediately and review the activity log.
04.Encryption and password loss
Your master password and recovery key are not transmitted to our servers and cannot be recovered. Losing both means permanently losing access to your vault contents.
We strongly recommend storing the recovery key in a secure, physically separate location (e.g. an offline vault or paper backup).
05.Acceptable use
You may not use the service for unlawful activity, to infringe third-party rights, to attempt to bypass security mechanisms, to scrape automatically or to deliberately overload the infrastructure.
You may not store malware or unlawful materials in the vault.
06.Availability
We aim to keep the service continuously available, but we do not guarantee 100% uptime. Planned maintenance windows and outages caused by upstream providers are possible.
07.Termination
You may delete your account at any time from settings. After deletion, encrypted vault data is removed without backup.
We may suspend an account that breaches these terms after notice, or without notice for severe breaches (e.g. activity harmful to the security of other users).
08.Limitation of liability
The service is provided on an „as is” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, or any consequences of losing your master password or recovery key.
Our total liability towards a user is limited to the amount paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the event.
09.Changes
We publish updates on this page. Material changes are announced by email in advance. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
10.Governing law
Disputes arising from the use of the service are governed by the law applicable to the place where the service is provided. Consumers additionally retain the rights granted by mandatory consumer protection law in their country of residence.
